After dropping Booth off at the Garrett farm, Willie Jett proceeded to this, the Star Hotel, in Bowling Green. Jett was courting the hotel proprietor’s daughter, Izora Gouldman, Jett was discovered here by union troops on the night of April 25th, and forced to reveal Booth’s location. The original hotel no longer stands.
