Joe accompanies Clarke to France 6-26-1870

In 1870, Joseph Booth was working as the treasurer for his brother Edwin’s theatre in New York. During one break from work, however, he joined John Sleeper Clarke on his journey back to Europe. Joseph was likely going to visit his sister Asia who had moved to England in 1868.
