Agnes Booth was born Marion Agnes Rookes in Austrialia. When she took to the stage she used the name Agnes Land, her mother’s maiden name. In 1861, she married Harry Perry, a fellow actor. He died shortly thereafter. In 1867, she married Junius Brutus Booth, Jr. They had four sons together. After his death in 1883, she married a Mr. Schoeffel.
